Shipping & Receiving Associate

Salary : $16-$18 / Hr.

Location : Twinsburg, OH

Employment Type : 12-Month Project with potential extension

Requirements :

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field preferred
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing to work overtime if required.
• Use proper lifting techniques with the ability to move, pack and lift heavy packages for shipment.
• Must be able to sit, stand, reach, squat, stoop, bend and kneel.
• Must be able to use a ladder.
• Must be able to accurately count (including very small parts).
• Proficiency in SAP is helpful, but not required.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements
• Duties : Receive incoming shipments from suppliers and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Unbox materials carefully, inspecting for damage or discrepancies, and report any issues promptly.
• Package customer orders securely, ensuring items are properly protected for transit.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and ensure timely delivery of customer materials.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing periodic stock checks.
• Organize received materials for storage in designated warehouse locations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing warehouse tasks.
• Utilize proper lifting techniques to safely handle and move heavy packages.
• Physical Requirements : Lift and move packages weighing up to 35lbs frequently without assistance.
• Utilize proper lifting techniques for heavier packages and materials.
• Perform various physical tasks, including sitting, standing, reaching, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling, and using a ladder.
• Accurately count and record inventory, including very small parts, to ensure precision in inventory management.
